Q: Do I have to fundraise my minimum in order to receive a race entry?
A: Yes. Your minimum fundraising commitment must be met by January 11, 2019 in order to receive entry into the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. If you do not meet your minimum fundraising commitment by January 11, the credit card you have on file with us will be charged the remaining balance in the days following the deadline.
Q: How do I raise funds?
A: When you register to run with CMN Hospitals during the 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, you will receive an email with a link to your personal fundraising page. When raising funds online, you must use this personal fundraising page in order to receive credit for your donations. If you raise funds offline, see below.
Q: What do I do with offline donations?
A: For security reasons, we highly recommend you not mail cash. Instead, please either 1) obtain and send a money order or cashiers check to the address below or 2) deposit the cash and donate the amount to yourself via your personal fundraising page. PLEASE NOTE: The Miracle Maker's first and last name as well as Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend must accompany the offline donation for you to receive credit for it. Once our Accounting Department receives your offline donation, they will credit the amount to your personal fundraising page. This could take anywhere from two weeks to six months for our team to process.
Q: What if CMN Hospitals has not received the offline donation I mailed in by January 11?
A: If you have not seen your offline donation credited to your personal fundraising page after January 1, 2019, add the funds you are expecting to receive credit for as an offline donation on your fundraising page. Then, notify CMN Hospitals staff of the funds that are on their way. Be sure to include your name, the donor's name, the date the offline donation was mailed, the amount, and the check number (if applicable) in your email.
Q: Where do the funds I am raising actually go?
A: Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is the presenting sponsor and celebratory charity of the Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend. Funds raised by Miracle Makers support CMN Hospitals' operations. For every dollar supporting our operating budget, we are able to turn it into $10 in donations to our local member hospitals that use the funds where they're needed most.
Q: Is it possible to fundraise as a team?
A: It is not possible to fundraise as a team. Each individual receiving a race bib must individually fundraise their minimum fundraising requirement.
Q: What support can I expect to receive from CMN Hospitals throughout my journey as a Miracle Maker?

Q: How does my registration information provided to CMN Hospitals get to runDisney?
A. When you have made significant progress toward your minimum fundraising commitment, having raised $500, you will be eligible to register through runDisney’s registration system, notifying runDisney of your participation and providing them with your information to generate your bib.
Q: How soon after I reach $500 will I receive my link?
A: Your link is not automatically generated once your cross the $500 fundraising threshold. Our team dispatches registration links twice a month - We appreciate your patience. You will receive an email directly with your runDisney registration link. You must register using the link provided to participate in the 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend.
Q: Now that I have registered with CMN Hospitals for the 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, how do I proceed with making travel arrangements and planning my time at Walt Disney World®?
A: As of October 18, 2018, CMN Hospitals is partnering with Sarah Bergman and the team at Park & Preston Travel as the official Race Weekend Travel Provider for Miracle Makers.
Park & Preston has worked with runDisney since 2014 and they are very excited to be on board to help with your travel plans. The Park & Preston team is comprised of three full-time travel coordinators who work almost exclusively with runDisney and runners for race weekends. As runners themselves, they have many years (and many miles!) of experience and can answer any questions you have regarding travel, tickets, or the races you’ll be participating in! (One has even run with us as a Miracle Maker in the past!)
Please note that the Walt Disney World® Resort availability will be limited for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, therefore, the sooner you reach out to Park & Preston, the better! They’ve provided this form to make that process easy for you.

A: Please visit the runDisney website for complete information on the Expo as well as packet pick-up. It is VERY important you take the Expo and packet pick-up into consideration when creating your travel plans. All runners must attend the Expo for race number, shirt & gEAR bag pick up.

A: There are MANY opportunities for you to meet fellow Miracle Makers during race weekend!
Charity Row Tent: On the morning of the Disney Princess Half Marathon, CMN Hospitals will host a gathering spot for Miracle Makers before the race begins. Make plans to stop by, relax and prepare for the 13.1-mile party that lies ahead of you! We'll have a few snacks as well to help sustain you on your journey. The tent will open at 3 am and remain open until it is time to move to the start line. All group tents are located past the security checkpoint toward the gEAR Bag Check area.
